Any O Scale model can be converted into a Proto48 model by changing out the trucks or wheel-sets. Only RY Models and Protocraft are currently importing models in Proto48. Glacier Park Models is currently importing conversion kits for their recent runs of western road steamers. Overland has imported conversion wheel-sets for their diesels, they are no longer stocked but do show up at shows and on Ebay.
